The finest adult film (and one of the rare [hardcore] examples) from the United Kingdom — made by husband-wife team Derek and Valerie Ford, who have achieved legitimate mainstream success as well. Prisoner Brown is sentenced to 5 years at Easton Women’s Prison and is transported by train. The title of the film refers to the train trip fantasy occupation of time as a female narrator wonders about the various passengers.
“What makes this sleeper work is Heather Deeley (SEX GAMES OF THE VERY RICH, etc.) as Imogene. She’s not only easy on the eyes and accomplished in her sex scenes — which essentially carry the film — but she’s a real actress. DIVERSIONS include the apple in the barn, the intense and mildly gruesome symbolism of sex and war, the Vampire scene, the wonderful apartment misunderstanding with Tim Burr… the stylized Nazi business and the charming camera fantasy conclusion. The film also provides one of the more original twist endings and one of the few that works. Provocative stuff mixed with intense imagery and pure fluff. Erotic film buffs will love it.
