The erotic movie in general is nice, usually I don’t like this type of movies but somehow this one managed to gain my attention from beginning to end. This movie is a winner, but you can’t find easily. I really would like to see more work for the beautiful “Lila Baumann”, I’m really surprised to not-see her on other erotic movies.

If you are familiar with this series of films you will know by now that these are soft porn films which are tastefully done. Well produced and directed pretty well for a xx film. In this movie Anna (Lila Baumann) ,the primary character has reinvented herself as an actress and she is set to star and produce in a film by an Italian production house with questionable background. With these follows, the usual film industry scandals, casting couch, affairs of the stars, orgies at the producer’s mansion and a lot of other scenarios warranting nudity and you know what! All in all its enjoyable because of all the beautiful women and their skin of course! You can enjoy it with your friends and while you are at it watch the other movies from this series.

Wonderful girls, very nice movie. Lila Baumann is so sexy, and it changes from others films of that kind, generally too stupid. Girls are usually beautiful and sex scenes are very nice and smart. Music is also nice, with a lot of piano. It’s unusual for this kind of film to not be ridiculous when the story takes place in the past, but this film succeed to recreate the 30′s, between the two world war, between Paris and London. The doctors is quite Machiavelli to replace the heroin and steel the money or her husband. Director is good, he made a very sensual film. I regret that Lila Baumann hasn’t make other films, she was marvelous, and I will never forgot her.I search it on web. Please help me. An for the others “The diary” too.

I was on my once a week DVD hunt one night, had to do it fast because it was getting late, after scanning about 500 titles in three different stores, i saw this single solitary DVD on a lonely shelf… it had a synopsis of about two sentences and a PG rating! I can only buy one DVD so i passed over it and browsed on to others, when all the rest of the titles were Hollywood crap, i came back to buy it because it had a butterfly on the cover. When i watched it at 2AM… GASP! the guy who put a PG rating on the cover ought to be hanged! the entire opening credits alone was worth two NC-17 ratings! Not much story but have good production values, nice soundtrack, and pretty women! Up until this film I thought the Brits depended upon the French for erotic entertainment…

For a ‘sexploitation’ picture, THE NOTORIOUS CLEOPATRA doesn’t really work as one. The little bits of comedy we do see are pretty inane asides to the camera in the style of “Laugh-In”, which thankfully are pretty much relegated to the first third of the picture. The sex scenes don’t work too well either, dragging on for 5-10 minutes at a stretch and featuring some uglies who should have been paid to stay clothed. The film would have probably worked better as a straight period piece, since surprisingly most of the cast are fairly decent in their roles. Rocco, although wooden as the Trojan Horse with his facial expressions, does the best among all the cast as Marc Antony. The film actually gets less comical as it rolls on, turning dead serious in the last 10 minutes! And most shocking of all, it actually seems to work better that way.
