To extract the archives, the best is the command line:
unrar x

To join the spited avi files, you have to install memcoder. It can be the package memcoder or it can be included with mplayer.

To join 1.avi and 2.avi, you have just to type:

mencoder -oac copy -ovc copy -o “joined.avi” “1.avi” “2.avi”

If joined.avi is bigger than 2GB (1024MB) and you want to be sure than it can be read by any video player, it is best to type:

mencoder -oac copy -ovc copy -noodml -o “joined.avi” “1.avi” “2.avi”

If joined.avi is bigger than 2GB and cannot be read, try another video player. But I am not sure if this size issue is still a problem, I don’t think so.

Otherwise, I uploaded “The Hottest Show in Town”, aka Sex-cirkusse, aka La foire aux sexes. This is a very funny Danish movie with a mix of soft and hard scenes.
