One of Traci Lords’ earliest films she shows some good acting, good camera appeal, and a great(as usual) body. Rachel Ashley is thin and in great shape herself in this movie. Rikki Blake also deserves mention as she did her usual excellent support role.
Kudo’s have to go to the Camp Director, who shows great restraint when he suspects that one of the girls is not really a girl. He accuses Lords, at a general meeting of the campers, and he is only standing inches from her when she pulls her top up while boasting that “boys don’t have these”. The look in his eyes tells the viewer how uncomfortable that must have been!
The movie has some good comedy in it, it’s stupid of course, but we’re not talking big time film or big time budget. Take it for the what it is!

A woman can’t stop thinking about sex. She wants it non-stop all the time, so she decides to see a doctor. The doctor hooks her up to a dream inducing device. We get to see all of her sexual dreams, most of which involve women having sex with each other. The movie is well filmed, but the sex scenes are not really sexy at all. This was made during that era when it was still considered cool to wear sunglasses during sex. They tried harder to look good on screen, rather that trying to be actually sexually convincing. All the dialogue is somewhat wooden and corny sounding. The story itself is not really of any significance to the film, as it’s mostly just non-stop erotica. Perhaps this fact was realised later on, as Blakes more recent films seem to have done away with plots and focus on creating interesting erotic visuals.
I’ve seen a couple of Andrew Blake’s more recent films, and I enjoyed them quite a lot. Unfortunately, this one just isn’t quite up to snuff with his newer stuff. It just wasn’t very sexy at all. The women are pretty, but they’re all wearing sunglasses and having really unconvincing dramatic sex. I also didn’t like the swimsuits they were wearing. Certainly not an awful film, but not really all that good either.

Whenever hardcore pornos are attempting to tell some story, or portray some character, they face a major dilemma. How on Earth can they justify the amount of *****ing the viewers come to expect and pay for, and at the same time keep the story and the characters believable? Usually, this just does not work.
But this does not mean that it never works. There is the odd film here and there in which the writers did find a plot device for justifying or even requiring frequent fornication. In Night Dreams the sex is not really happening, it is dreamt by our heroine (Tori Welles) who is frigid when awake and, er, hedonistic in her dreams. Two psychiatrists observe her dreams using a special dream-watching machine. Needless to say, we join them.
Unfortunately, Andrew Blake is a lousy story teller, and so he does not develop this idea much further. Blake’s strength is style, waggonloads of style, although one can easily blame him for overdoing it in some of his pictures. In Night Dreams he keeps the balance.

The year is 1944. Soldiers in France take refuge in a convent only to find that the nuns are horny and ready for action. If there is any single director in the pornography industry who knows how to handle nun porn, it’s Mario Salieri.
Despite not being able to understand the story, I have to admit that this was among the best nunerotica titles I’ve seen to date. The sex was outstanding with plenty of anal and oral. The women were just gorgeous. Salieri was careful too choose performers who had no tattoos and their nails were plain and unpainted making it easy to believe they were nuns.
The habits and coronets came off too quickly in just about every scene, but the beautiful sets and elaborate costumes made it easy to maintain the illusion. Every room was decorated with holy icons and pictures of St. Teresa Lisieux which leads me to guess that these were supposed to be Carmelite nuns. I don’t know if they were modeled after an actual World War II era order of nuns.
Salieri is simply outstanding as a director. He is a master of using lighting and strategic camera placements to get artistically beautiful and sexually arousing shots. He is hard on his performers, but the end result pays off as his movies are some of the most beautiful and well crafted in the business.
Despite a few shortcomings, even the language barrier, Geheimnisse einer Nonne is certainly a worthy addition to any collection.

He asks her to leave, but moments after he enters his room, the buxom neighbor barges in nude, throws him on the bed and dives down successfully for his privates. After he finally manages to stop her, they engage in consensual sex. She later explains she was inactive since her husband divorced her for a younger woman.
