Psychiatrist insists that Antonio continues to tell him about his father. He says that as a boy his father used to abuse his mother, which made him afraid. He used to find blood stains on her clothes after he raped her. Doctor says that says deep down Antonio has been psychologically conditioned to be just like his father, and he must confront this.
Later in the park, Antonio tells his girlfriend, Camilla, how that park reminded him of a film by Michaelangelo Antonioni. She says Antonioni is more pessimistic and depressed than he is. She then asks whether or not he is sure about visiting his old house. He said he is ready, and she says she is worried about him but she will come along with him for support.
The doctor says he is proud of Antonio’s progress when he hears he is willing to face his hurtful memories and return to his old parent’s house. He is confident he will be able to go through with it.
At his office, Antonio informs one of his workers, Mariotti, that he is taking a vacation with his wife to his old parent’s house. When Mariotti reminds him what a powerful man Antonio’s father was before he died, Antonio gets upset and tells him to drop it. Before he leaves, Mariotti asks Antonio to track down an old girlfriend while he’s on vacation, but Antonio tells him she is now just an old memory and to move on.
When Antonio returns home, he tells Camilla they will be leaving tommorrow, and they have sex. When they finish, Camilla decides they are going to need someone to take care of the house they will be staying in during their vacation. On short notice, Antonio calls Mariotti, and he send him one of his assistants to go with them.
When they arrive at the house the next day, Camilla and the assistant, Adella, go to open all the windows. Camilla tells Adella to refer to her as «Madam» (Signora), not by her name. In the other room, Antonio is remembering a scene from his childhood.
His father, Umberto, is angrily telling his mother, Anna, that he works hard for his family and wants something prepared for dinner. She tells him he is just nervous, and he gets upset with her. He then tells her his hunger has changed to a different kind before he is about to fuck her. When he sees Antonio watching them, he goes out for dinner.
Camilla finds Antonio reminiscing, and he tells her what he remembered happening in that room. She says they can leave if he wants, but he says he wants to resolve these issues with his abusive father once and for all. He then reveals to Camilla that at his father’s funeral, a woman told him he was his father’s lover, and that they didn’t even bother going to the bedroom, they just fucked in the living room.
Later as they are having dinner, Camilla asks Antonio if he is sure he is alright. Antonio says he is fine, and to stop asking. He then asks her why she is so rude to Adella. She says she knows her type, she’s a slut. Antonio tells Camilla she was too at Adella’s age, and he retires for the night. He apologize’s to Adella for his wife’s behviour. Adella says it’s alright and asks him to help her with her bra, before she says goodnight.
When looking at an old photograph, Antonio once again has a flashback. A man named Stephano comes to their house and brings Anna, Antonio’s mother, a gift from his wife, Matilda. Antonio’s father tells her to leave the room so they can play cards. Stephano says his wife says Anna is upset, and Antonio’s father says she is just tired. When Stephano asks about Antonio, Antonio’s father says he is doing well in school. Then they argue about which of their wives has the best ass. Father says he can prove his does. They go to her bedroom and he demands she show Stephano. She calls them pigs and complies. And they all end up having a threesome.
Camilla later finds Antonio and is shocked he is drinking alchohol for the first time. He says it was only to relax him and apologizes. The next morning, Adella flirts with the other help sent by Mariotti. Camilla tells Antonio she had a bad dream about Adella, and that she doesn’t like her, and that he should get rid of her. He tells her she is just jealous, and to fuck off. Camilla asks Adella how long he has known Mariotti, and she says only two weeks.
Antonio wakes up from his sleep, and decides to have a drink, and finds Adella. She says she likes him. Antonio says he likes her too, but he’s married. Adella spiked Camilla’s tea to make her sleep, so that they could fuck without interruption. They have a continuing affair, and he asks her to stay with them longer. She says she can’t because she has no money. He tells her he will deal with Mariotti to allow it, and not to worry about his wife either. She then tell him she has been thinking about having Camilla fuck two men, and he likes the idea.
Later, Antonio says he’s going into town, and that he had given Adella the day off. She gets upset because this was only suppossed to be a vacation to deal with his feelings.
Later, Adella returns to the house with two men to fuck Camilla. Antonio is shocked because he didn’t know they would be Mariotti’s men. Camilla realizes he and Adella set up the whole thing. She asks why she is being punished, after all, she is not the slut that Antonio’s mother was. Antonio is offended. She then proceeds to fuck the two men.
Afterwards, Camilla tells Antonio she is leaving, and that next time they meet will be at the attorney’s office. Adella tells Antonio he is a piece of shit, and leaves him along with the rest of Mariotti’s helpers.
Antonio then remembers how he killed his father after he found his mother had committed suicide. He decides to hang himself.
Camilla became a manager for Salimbeni Spa, whose profits increased 35% since her involvement. Andrea, the psychiatrist, continued to be the best at his profession, and was a stockholder in Camilla’s business. Mariotti became administrative director of the spa, climbing towards top manager. Adela started a bar in Ibizia, and decided to go for a cruise. The two male helpers of Mariotti earned 30 euros and after wanting more money joined the secret service.
