Slow Dancing (1992)
Director: Gloria Leonard
Starring: Hyapatia Lee, Melanie Moore, Teri Diver, Jonathan Morgan, Marc Wallice, Mike Horner.
This is a Hyapatia Lee classic from around 1992. It has never made it to DVD so this is a rip from our old VHS copy. Its one of her more obscure titles. I’ver never seen it anywhere on the web so I figured I would give Ms Lee’s fans a chance to see her in something new.
It stars Hyapatia with support from Melanie More and Teri Diver. Jonathan Morgan, Mike Horner and Marc (Dick O Death) Wallice make up the male talent.
From the box – Hyapatia. Married. Divorced. And facing the scene- circa ’92. 1-900-what? Video dating? Swinging? Chicks? Joy Jelly? Watch Slow Dancing. It’s a whole new look at a whole new world.

Gloria Leonard runs a pricey house of prostitution, and business is booming. Then her younger sister shows up and announces that she wants to earn her spurs in the world’s oldest profession. Gloria is simply thrilled to have her sister training to take over the family business, and she promptly begins her education. She starts with the simple pleasures her business offers its clients — all the traditional forms of sex. Watching Leslie Bovee, who plays the neophyte hooker, performing her lessons is what adult film is all about. Later, she moves on to such lessons as the proper binding and beating techniques for clients who prefer their pleasures with a touch of S&M. A well-done tribute to bought pleasure in all of its forms.
Little Blue Box (1979)
Director: Don Walters
Starring: Gloria Leonard, Jennifer Welles, Lesllie Bovee, Ming Toy, Sharon Mitchell, Jack Teague, Jamie Gillis, John Leslie.
A self-described “horny but faithful” husband (John Leslie), disappointed by his wife’s (Jennifer Welles) frigidity, tries to spice things up with the help of an adult home-movie system sold to him by the lovely Miss Azure (Welles again) and featuring the mysterious “Channel 69.”
Several well-staged sex scenes, including one with the lovely Leslie Bovee, fleck this relic of the golden age of adult flicks. It’s got an endearingly corny sense of humor, too (Miss Azure, “Little Blue Box”, get it?): Leslie’s snacking scene when he finally unlocks the secret of Channel 69 is a hoot.
The move to video and virtual plotlessness in modern adult cinema has robbed the genre of much of its charm, methinks. This one represents what it was like when porn was still Film-making.
