Liquid A$$ets (1982)
AKA: Liquid Assets
Director: Roberta Findlay
Starring: Samantha Fox, Veronica Hart, Tiffany Clark, Bobby Astyr, Sharon Kane, Lisa Be, Robert Kerman, Ron Jeremy, Rod Pierce, Fred J. Lincoln, Michael Bruce, Lee-Allen Richards.
Saw this a few years after it was made. Back in those days, porn films more often than not had a plot, which made them even better cuz one minute you’re watching the characters go about their normal lives la dee da and the next minute they’re getting buck naked, which is more of a turn-on than just straight sex.
The comedic plot involves a Mel Brooks’ “Producers” style scenario about a wealthy guy deliberately puts on a flop play as a tax write-off (the play is about the Russian revolution, and this is probably the only porn film ever where someone uses the word “mensheviks”).
As I recall no full frontal nudity but lots of undulating flesh nonetheless. Ron Jeremy is amusing as the lawyer who sets up the whole tax write-off. There is a rather obvious and none-too-subtle satirical scene about a hypocritical judge who lambastes the sex trade. You get the impression that the guys who made this thought they were gonna be doing something a bit better than the average porn film, (sorta life Jack Horner in Boogie Nights)and for the most part they succeeded.

Director: Fred J. Lincoln
Starring: France Lomay, Natacha, Anna Ventura, Lisa Cintrice, Tiffany Clark, Mai Lin, Lisa Be, Sharon Kane, Jamie Gillis, Joey Silvera, David Ambrose, Michael Bruce, Alan Adrian.
Jamie Gillis plays successful writer Paul and starving artist Phillipe both living in Paris. He is two people because he must balance a delicate sexual situation involving Frannie and Natasha. What makes OUTRAGEOUS more than watchable is the introduction of these two incredibly gorgeous newcomers to the world of explicit films. They are worth it. Lots of Paris footage and good production… Joey Silvera and Anna Ventura have a hot scene, shot about the time Joey was coming into his own as an adult film major name…”

Samantha Fox – Babe (1982)
Director: John Christopher
Starring: Tara Aire, Rod Pierce, Samantha Fox, Ron Jeremy, Matt West, John Milner, Tiffany Clark, George Payne, Diana Sloan, Ron Hudd, Jim Davey, Lisa Be, Tamara West, Veronica Hart, Frederick Rein.
A classic sexvid, this feature stars Bobbi Jackson (Tara Aire) as Babe, a top-flight New York model who has been single-handedly keeping Samantha Fox’s modeling agency in business. Bobbi likes to play the field, dabbling in some fun with lots of men but never quite finding one to settle down with.
The plot thickens when she receives a notice telling her that her grandfather has died and left her $20 million. The only catch is that Bobbi must be married within 30 days if she is to collect the cash. Samantha starts to worry that if Bobbi inherits the funds, she’ll leave the agency and cast Fox into the sea of unemployment. To secure her own future, Samantha tries to set up Bobbi with men of her own choosing, guys who’ll fritter away Bobbi’s cash and force her to keep working as a model. She eventually finds actor/playwright Roderic Pierce, who’s cooked up a play so bad that Samantha’s sure it’ll be a bust. Toss in a twist ending cribbed from the Mel Brooks classic ‘The Producers,’ and you’ve got the makings of a top-notch sexvid feature. Those who like naturally voluptuous women will flip for this, shot well before the standard in porn called for fake boobs. Samantha Fox is great, and Bobbi delivers a surprisingly strong performance as the naive beauty at the center of the storm.
